Honestly, winter is not really my favorite season, basically because I hate cold, and living in Milan, I am forced to take serious measures to protect my skin from the cold climate of this period (this year thankfully not too icy). As for hands and lips I use two excellent products by Ducray: Ictyane Hand Cream and Lip Balm Trialose. But what is Trialose? It is a complex (trehalose, glycerol and sorbitol) deeply moisturizing the skin. Its mechanism of operation reproduces the one of Tardigrado, a microscopic living being that survives at extreme temperatures (-100° / +150° C) due to its ability to replace the water of its cells with a sugar, the trehalose, able to protect the cellular structures from any climatic stress.
Siamo sinceri, l’inverno non è proprio la mia stagione preferita, perché fondamentalmente odio il freddo e, vivendo a Milano, mi trovo costretta a prendere seri provvedimenti per difendere la mia pelle dal clima gelido di questo periodo (quest’anno fortunatamente non troppo gelido). Per quanto riguarda mani e labbra uso due ottimi prodotti della Ducray: Ictyane Crema Mani e Stick Labbra Trialose.
Vi chiederete, ma cos’è il Trialose? È un complesso (trealosio, glicerolo e sorbitolo) che idrata profondamente la pelle. Il suo meccanismo di funzionamento riproduce quello del Tardigrado, essere microscopico che sopravvive a temperature estreme (-100°/+150°C) grazie alla sua capacità di rimpiazzare l’acqua delle sue cellule con uno zucchero, il trealosio, che protegge le strutture cellulari da qualsiasi stress climatico.
